Excalipoint Therapeutics Announces Clinical Trial Collaboration with Roche to Evaluate EXP011 in DLL3-Positive Solid Tumors

We are excited to announce that our portfolio company, Excalipoint Therapeutics, has entered into a clinical trial collaboration with Roche. Under this agreement, Roche will provide atezolizumab (Tecentriq®) to evaluate the combination potential of Excalipoint's lead asset, EXP011 (CTM012) , in DLL3-positive solid tumors.
 
EXP011 is a tri-specific T cell engager targeting DLL3, CD3, and 4-1BB, developed on Excalipoint's proprietary EXCOPIA™ co-stimulatory platform (formerly TOPAbody). The initial study will focus on small cell lung cancer (SCLC) , with plans to expand into neuroendocrine tumors (NET) and other DLL3-expressing malignancies.

This collaboration marks another major milestone for Excalipoint, following its $68.7 million seed financing (one of the largest seed rounds in China biotech history). Roche's PD-L1 inhibitor has become a common combination partner in DLL3-targeted immuno-oncology research, with similar clinical supply agreements recently established with companies like Phanes Therapeutics.
 
DLL3, a tumor-specific antigen highly expressed in SCLC and neuroendocrine tumors, has emerged as a key therapeutic target. As one of the few DLL3×CD3 bispecific/trispecific antibodies currently in clinical development, EXP011's differentiated design incorporates a 4-1BB co-stimulatory signal, potentially enabling more durable and deeper anti-tumor responses compared to approved DLL3-targeting therapies.
